The founder tells us the interesting story about how cost and performance issues of raw materials in manufacturing potato croquettes led to the innovative solution of importing dehydrated potato flakes that can be brought back to life through hydration. The founder and his team identified that if there are products that are competitive in price stable in quality replacing a product already imported in basic form, there is a business opportunity within the product, thus paving the way to import value added products more suitable for further processing of manufacturing value added products.
